Verified ReviewerGot my TOEFL exam cancelled for no reason and not rescheduled nor refunded
I paid and registered for a TOEFL exam. My exam was cancelled the night before, with an e-mail, no reason provided.
Hence, I did not receive details for connecting to the exam session. Before exam time, I tried to call customer service and use the website chat. I did not get answers on time. When getting in the chat, the employee told me that my case would get escalated.
Soon after, I got an e-mail saying that I did not show to the exam, hence I lost all my money. They did not answer anymore to my complaining e-mails. I did not get an offer to reschedule the exam, or to get a refund.
I can provide the exam confirmation e-mail, the cancellation e-mail I received, the chat with the employee, the other e-mail exchanges. Thanks for any help.

I had a problem with my test, so I wrote to ETS addressing the incident. It took a full week for them to acknowledge that they received my email.
Then it took another week for them to say that they were creating an incident report. I never heard back after that.
I called ETS a month after taking the test because I still had not heard back from them. I waited on hold for 45 minutes until I finally got to speak to a representative who kept putting me back on hold because he did not know how to help me and had to ask his manager. At the end up of the call I was told that I would receive an email from them later that same day and they would push the incident report to top priority.
I did not get the email later that day.
When I finally did receive the email, it said that they could not issue me a retest nor a refund, citing inaccurate information.
I then called ETS again to further address the issue. I immediately asked to speak to a manager because I knew the representative would be unable to help me. I was not transferred to a manager. Rather, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before the representative came back and told me that I would have to call back tomorrow to speak to the person who sent me the email.
I never asked to speak to that person, so I asked again to speak to a manager.
I was put on hold again and then told that I could not speak to manager. My issue still has not been resolved and I still have not been able to speak to someone who knows how to help me with it.

MY SCHOOL WAIVED THE GRE REQUIREMENT FOR 2021 AFTER I HAD ALREADY REGISTERED. THIS WAS TOTALLY OUT OF MY CONTROL YET THEY WILL ONLY REFUND 1/2 OF MY MONEY. I WOULD CALL THIS THEFT!

ETS Praxis
I have been on hold for 3 hours waiting for someone to reschedule my test due to COVID-19. This is unacceptable. And still waiting for my $30 refund.

Terrible customer service
I tried to take the home test, and for some reason I rescheduled my test like two week back. And I saw two tests on the proctor U. So I called them to make sure if that's something I should worry about. I was absolutely polite when calling. And the woman was like "Go to your home page and read out loud the red sentence under the important notice"
They're RUDE as *** and I promise I was being polite and didn't use any word improper.
And after all that, you still have to take the test there since you need your score to apply for schools. It's their website design flaw but they just blame on the customers.
*** ridiculous.

Verified ReviewerFull Refund due to COVID #19
I called and emailed ETS and respectfully requested a full refund due to the fact that the testing centers here in PA are closed due to COVID #19. ETS refused to give a full refund.
I could see this if the circumstances were virus-free.
They state that I should be able to take it by April 30. However, they have NO way of knowing that and are throwing out dates to justify their actions.

I need my testing accommodations and I have submitted the paperwork about three to four times. All they keep sending me is the guidelines and tell me I need to refill it all out again.
When I call they just tell me I need to fill it out and make sure it is within the guidelines.
I cannot pass the test without it and have no clue what I am missing. They are not very forthcoming with suggestions either.
Preferred solution: Approve my accommodations
User's recommendation: Make sure your paperwork is within the guidelines whatever that is.

Charged twice for praxis and have no receipt or ticket number
I recently registered for the praxis exam. The company charged me twice and I have no ticket or receipt for the purchases.
I am unable to get in touch with anyone with the company.
I have called several times and held for more than one hour, to no avail. I'm not sure if there are any other companies that offer the praxis but will be researching this information.

Complaint
On bus route #9, bus #4945, a teenage boy was blasting music on his cell phone &;; I told him many times to turn it down. He called me a F ing *** repeatedly until I was forced to change my seat to the front.
The bus driver failed to tell the boy to turn the music down & even blamed me for making the complaint like it was my fault thus encouraging the bad behavior. Furthermore, the boy refused to social distance himself from me. I am a senior citizen whose parents raised my siblings & I to respect our elders, something we did all through our growing up years.
Now this young coyote, who blasted his music & called me a F ing *** gets away with what he did because the driver did not want to intervene. I am very disappointed in the ETS right now & I wouldn't be surprised if nothing is done about this.

Can not pass the praxis
I have took this test 5 times and still havent had any luck passing it. Now I am months away from getting fired from my job because I can not pass the test.

AWFUL COSTUMER SERVICE
This is a terrible company. Not only did I have to retake the test because the first time I have taken it it had been over the 5 years but then I was extremely ill on date of test and they made me pay again to re-register. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Fraudulent charges
I also had 2 charges to my account from this .... one for 50$ which is actually pending, and one for 195$ which my bank caught and denied then sent me a fraud alert text.
That text prompted me to check my transactions thats how i found out about the other 50$... im a single mom and this is some bs!

Resolved: Not Passing Praxis II Exam
I have been trying to be a certified teacher for the past 10 years. I would always miss the Praxis II Exam by a 1 or 2 points when I would take a new one the second time.
I recently took the English 5039 for the Praxis. In SC, you have to score a 168. I got a 167. Do you know how mad I was?
This is not the first time they did not pass me by one point. Something needs to change and it needs to change fast.
