The Global Recruitment or ETS.org invite you to participate of a research promissing you a $40 gift card, don`t believe it.
I participated of two researches, and until now(3 months later) I haven´t received any gift card. I really want to know when I will receive both gift cards, $40 for each one.
The first research was English Speaking test, June 6th. The other one was Writing test, July 11th.
Bellow is the message that they sent to me twice:
"Dear TOEFL iBT® Test Taker:
Educational Testing Service (ETS) is conducting a study to explore innovative item types for an English speaking test. We would like to invite you to participate in the study.
As a participant, you will be asked to complete an additional speaking test immediately after taking the TOEFL iBT® test. The speaking test will take approximately one hour to complete. For participating, you will receive an electronic gift card with a value of US$40 within one month after you complete the study. To be eligible for this study, you must not be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary and:
· your participation will not affect your TOEFL iBT test scores.
· your name and personal information is confidential and will not be released to anyone.
· you are free to withdraw from the study at any time.
· all the data collected for the study will be used for research purposes only.
· all study results are confidential and remain the property of ETS.
If you are interested in participating in this research study, please sign up at the test center on test day. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the test center. If you do not see a sign-up sheet, please ask the test center administrator how you can participate. The study is limited to the first 10 test takers to sign up at each test center.
