Scheduled Praxis At Home. Could not launch the test despite logging in early.
Called Customer Service. Was told to call Proctor U. Called ProctorU was told that they had no record of my account, was told to call ETS, and was hung up on. Called ETS and was told they had to wait a day for a report from ProctorU.
Could not test. Called ETS again and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. ZERO customer service. This company is a SCAM.
There are many reports of this company stealing money from test takers. It is TIME TO END THE ETS.
There is no competition for this company, for many exams, you have to use them. This is completely a SCAM.
No, my issue has not been resolved yet. After I submitted the claim, 03/16/2024, I received an email with instructions to reschedule a makeup test.
However, when I log into my GRE account and follow the steps, it prompts me to make a payment again. According to the email, I should be able to choose a new date without any payment, as it is supposed to be free with a one-year validity. At this point, I'm going to request a refund, which seems like the most reasonable action for them to take on my behalf. I contacted them again today, 03/25/2024 seeking some clarity on how to re-schedule the makeup appointment, and the representative told me I need to wait 5 to 10 business days, which is unfair considering I already have some results and an email outlining the steps for rescheduling, but they do not work.
I just want my refund now. Unfortunately, ETS is the only provider for the GRE test, which is truly regrettable.
